Benjamin Netanyahu vows to transform Palestine as Israel retaliates for Hamas attack

In a harshly worded address, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the Israeli response has only just begun and that Hamas will experience many “tough and terrible” things.

Additionally, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to transform the region as Israel retaliated after a deadly Hamas strike and worked to heal and support traumatised families.

On October 7, Hamas launched a “surprise attack” on Israel, sending a barrage of rockets into the southern and central regions of the nation. This marked a significant escalation in the conflict.

The Times of Israel reported that 800 Israelis have died since the attack on Saturday, citing Israeli local media. The Israeli government reports that over 2400 persons have also sustained injuries.

“I know you’ve been through tough, terrible things. What Hamas will go through will be tough and terrible — we’re already in the midst of the battle and we’ve only just begun,” Times of Israel quoted Netanyahu as saying citing the PM Office.

He continued to commend the warriors for their perseverance and predicted that the forthcoming battle would last a while.

“The nation will turn over every stone to help you all. I ask that you stand strong because we are going to change the Middle East,” he said.

Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant stated earlier in the day that a “complete siege” of the Gaza Strip has been ordered. Following an evaluation at the IDF Southern Command in Beersheba, he made the remark.

“I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed,” Gallant said.

“We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly,” he added.

Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, the chief spokesman for the Israel Defence Forces, declared that Israeli forces have retaken control of all communities along the Gaza border. In the last few hours, there have been “isolated” incidences of fighting between troops and terrorists, he claimed.

According to Hagari, soldiers of the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council killed three terrorists. He said that one death occurred in Be’eri, five in Holit and Sufa, and four in Alumim. According to Hagari, there isn’t any fighting going on right now in any of the towns.

According to the IDF, new airstrikes are being conducted in the Gaza Strip. According to the IDF, Israel is attacking Hamas terrorist organisation targets.
