The singer revealed that as soon as the pre-sale of the tickets went live, he sold a whopping 1 lakh tickets within 15 minutes.

The bookings for Diljit’s Dil-Luminati Tour opened at 12 p.m. on Tuesday exclusively for those holding an HDFC Pixel Credit Card. While the lowest priced ticket for the concert became sold at Rs 1,499 for the “Silver” area, the value of the foremost expensive ticket soared to Rs 12,999 for the Fan Pit Phase II. Diljit Dosanjh Concert Tickets Sold for Rs Forty one,265

Social media quickly lit up with posts from people either thrilled to have secured tickets or disappointed at missing out.

Amid the fun, an X user, Kanishk Khurana, shared that he knew someone who had spent a staggering Rs Forty one,265 on tickets for a Diljit concert. Khurana remarked that individuals should “make better financial decisions,” implying that such an amount became excessive for a 3-hour event.

The post without delay sparked a debate. While some agreed with Khurana, suggesting the money can have been put to higher use, others argued that spending on something that brings happiness is worthwhile.

One user wrote, “It took me a long, long term to attain that just saving and investing is now not going to make me happy. Learn to spend on what brings you joy. For some, a WC T20 match is efficacious; for others, it’s a Sonu Nigam concert. It doesn’t matter. Be prudent, now not a miser.” Every other added, “I don’t in actuality get concerts. I became born and raised in a lower-middle-class family. I am going to never buy such expensive tickets.”
