Malaika Arora’s father Anil Mehta called her in morning before death to say ‘I am sick and…’

Actor Malaika Arora’s father Anil Mehta allegedly died by suicide on the morning of Wednesday, Eleventh of September. Shortly after the incident, Mumbai police officials recorded an announcement from her mother, Joyce Polycarp. In keeping with sources, Joyce informed the police that Anil had a routine of sitting on the balcony and reading the newspaper each morning. Though the couple had divorced years ago, they had been living together again for some time. There’s some other update in the case, an unknown source has confirmed Anil made a final phone call to his daughters, Malaika and Amrita, just hours earlier than his death. In keeping with sources, he allegedly told them, “I'm sick and tired,” though this information has yet to be officially verified.

On the tragic morning, Joyce became concerned when she noticed Anil’s slippers in the front room but couldn’t find him on the balcony. Upon leaning over the threshold, she saw the building’s watchman shouting for assist, discovering what had passed off. Joyce confirmed to the authorities that Anil had no longer been suffering from any major illnesses, with the exception of for some knee pain, and that he had taken voluntary retirement from the Merchant Navy years ago.

The tragic incident has shaken the Arora family, with both daughters and other close friends, including Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor, seen providing support during this not easy time. The police investigation is ongoing, and further small print are expected because the case develops.
