Dunki Drop 4: Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's film's trailer has blockbuster written all over

Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani have collaborated for the first time for Dunki and now the man himself, King Khan, has shared the trailer which was much awaited.

The Dunki trailer comes as a breath of fresh air after a year that was dominated by larger-than-life action potboilers, with Shah Rukh Khan like never before.

The DUNKI DROP 4, unveiled today, offers a peek into the endearing world of Rajkumar Hirani. Opening with SRK onboard a train, setting the tone for the adventure that lies ahead. The video unit introduces the wonderfully whimsical characters starting with Hardy, played by SRK, who enters a picturesque village in Punjab and encounters a group of spirited friends – Manu, Sukhi, Buggu, and Balli, all sharing a common dream of travelling to London in pursuit of better opportunities and a better life for their loved ones back home.

Encapsulating all the myriad emotions in one frame, this heart-warming tale follows four friends on an extraordinary journey to foreign lands, filled with challenges and life-changing experiences.

After giving two back-to-back blockbusters Pathaan and Jawan, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is now all set for his third and last film of this year as he gears up for the release of his next film, Dunki. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will hit theatres globally on 21 December 2023.

Dunki‘s teaser and songs

While the teaser also known as Dunki Drop 1 gives a small glimpse into the world of the film, Drop 2 and Drop 3 are the two songs including ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ and ‘Nikle The Hum Ghar Se’. The first song shows the fresh romance between Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu, while the second one reflects quite the essence of the film.

About Dunki

Speaking about the film, it is said to be based on the subject of illegal migration which takes place with a group of young people who wish to go abroad and make their careers. Just like a typical Rajkumar Hirani film, this one is also expected to be a mix of comedy and emotions, planning to give a social message to audiences.

Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the film also features actors like Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vikram Kocchar, and Anil Grover in prominent roles. The film has been made under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, while the film’s musical score is composed by Pritam. The film also marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani.
