Dunki screening: Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Hrithik Roshan, Taapsee Pannu arrive to watch Rajkumar Hirani's film

Shah Rukh Khan’s most awaited film of the year, Dunki, hit cinemas today, December 22. The comedy-drama film, for its emotional storyline and impeccable portrayal of characters, is receiving rave reviews. Ahead of its release, the makers hosted a special screening in Mumbai, which turned out to be a star-studded event as many celebrities arrived in style to witness the magic created by the dynamic duo of Shah Rukh and Rajkumar Hirani on screen.

Among the Bollywood celebrities and renowned names who arrived at the event was Shah Rukh, of course, who is headlining the film. As his swanky luxury car entered the venue, paparazzi immediately captured a video. His wife, Gauri Khan, also came to cheer her husband for his third film of the year. However, she was engrossed in her phone as she arrived at the venue.

Next came the Sam Bahadur actor Vicky Kaushal who is playing a pivotal role in the film. The paparazzi captured the star who kept it casual in a white t-shirt and a black cap. Accompanying Vicky was his family including his brother and actor Sunny Kaushal, father Sham Kaushal, and mother Veena Kaushal. While the Shiddat actor picked a blue shirt to grace the event, Sham wore a crisp white shirt.

Meanwhile, Taapsee Pannu, who is playing Shah Rukh’s love interest in the film also attended the screening. She also smiled at the paparazzi while arriving at the venue.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film is set against the backdrop of a small village in Punjab. It revolves around Shah Rukh and his four friends who have always dreamt of flying to England for better opportunities. However, due to unfavorable circumstances and not clearing the immigration exam, they decided to go the ‘donkey flight’ route.

As per trade expert Girish Johar, the runtime of Dunki is 2 hours and 41 minutes. In a post on X, he shared that Dunki has been given a “U/A” certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification.

Meanwhile, Dunki will have a clash with Prabhas’s Salaar which is releasing a day after the superstar’s film. Salaar will arrive in cinemas on December 22.
