NO Tickets For India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2024 Match in New York? Here’s How Fans Can Watch it From Edgbaston

New Delhi: In less than a month, India will lock horns with arch-rivals Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 on June 9 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. The ICC released the tickets for the IND vs PAK high-octane clash in February through a public ballot system and went sold out in no time. While the tickets are limited, there are set to be some disappointments for those who did not get atleast one. However, they need not to worry.

For the mega clash, the iconic Edgbaston stadium in Birmingham, England, is all set to transform into a gigantic Fan Park. Up to 8,000 fans are expected to congregate for the match on the match-day. This is also the first time ICC has taken such an initiative for an India vs Pakistan game.

ICC Head of Events, Chris Tetley explained the significance of the event. “Fan parks are an important part of bringing World Cups to more people across the globe,” he said. “We are delighted Edgbaston stadium will be hosting the screening of one of cricket’s biggest rivalries.

“I am sure there will be a great atmosphere on the day and based on previous India and Pakistan matches that have taken place at Edgbaston it will be an occasion not be missed,” he added. The India vs Pakistan game is always a pinnacle of any ICC tournament because of the rivalry over the decades.

Meanwhile, the Men in Green will be eyeing a revenge as they were beaten by a Virat Kohli masterclass at a sold-out MCG in 2022 when the last time these two teams met in the tournament. In the T20 World Cup 2024, both India and Pakistan are in Group A along with co-hosts USA, Canada, Ireland. India will start their campaign against Ireland on June 5.
