Telugu star Rajendra Prasad’s daughter Gayatri dies at 38

Veteran Telugu actor Rajendra Prasad’s daughter, Gayatri, passed away at the age of 38. Actor Navdeep also mourned Gayatri’s demise. His post on social media read, “Deeply saddened by the shortcoming of your loved one daughter Gayatri, #RajendraPrasad Garu. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family at some stage on this unimaginably tough time. May her soul rest in peace (sic).”

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu also paid his condolences. Taking to X, he wrote, “I'm deeply an outstanding deal surprised by the news of the demise of senior actor Rajendra Prasad’s daughter Gayatri brought on by a heart attack. It truly is very unfortunate for someone to pass away at such a young age. I convey my heartfelt condolences to the family at some stage on this tragic time. Telugu stars Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha, together with Pushpa 2 big name Allu Arjun—who has collaborated with Rajendra Prasad on a couple of films—visited the veteran actor’s home to pay their respects. Actor Venkatesh Daggubati also visited and used to be seen consoling Rajendra Prasad in videos that surfaced from the residence.

Gayatri is survived by her husband and daughter.
