G20 University Connect: PM Modi hails India's diplomatic power, scientific achievements

In his speech to the G20 University Connect Finale on Tuesday at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasised India’s recent advancements in science and diplomacy.

In the past 30 days, he claimed, India’s diplomacy had reached new heights, and as a result of India’s efforts, six additional nations had joined the BRICS group.

PM Modi also applauded the Chandrayaan-3 mission’s successful launch, which made India the fourth nation to set foot on the moon. He claimed that when it was revealed that “India is on the Moon,” the entire globe could hear India’s voice.

“This Bharat Mandapam was buzzing with activity two weeks ago. This Bharat Mandapam had become a vibrant place. I am happy that in the same Bharat Mandapam, my future Bharat is here. The world is amazed at the level at which India hosted the G20. But I am not amazed…Do you know why? When youth like you take charge of making an event successful, it becomes successful,” Modi said congratulating the youth for making the G20 Summit, which was hosted by India two weeks ago, a vibrant and successful event.

PM Modi also claimed that Saudi Arabia will spend $100 billion in India and that in the previous 30 days, he had talks with 85 foreign leaders.

“In today’s divisive international environment, bringing so many nations together on one platform was no minor achievement,” PM Modi said.

PM Modi exhorted the youth to be motivated by India’s accomplishments and seek to create a better future for both the nation and the entire planet.
