Gurucharan Singh’s Father Says ‘Tabiyat Theek Hai Abhi’ After Son Returns Home

After almost 25 days, the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Gurucharan Singh returned home. Singh had been missing since April 22, and his family had also filed a complaint. After Gurucharan came back home, his Hargit Singh in a conversation with Pinkvilla revealed that his son is now doing fine, and they have told the police everything that happened with him so far. He also asserted that his son was not kidnapped and he went away by his own choice.
When Hargit Singh was approached by the portal, he revealed, “Tabiyat theek hai abhi. Pradesh me hi ghoom rahe the vo. Agwaah nahi kiya tha unko. Humne police ko sab bataya hai, aap unse pata kar lijiye. (His health is fine now. He was roaming in the state only. Guru wasn’t kidnapped. On prodding him further, his father said that they’ve given all the details to the police, and we could get a detailed report from them).”
On May 18, the news agency ANI broke the news of Gurucharan Singh returning home. A photo of the actor standing with a police man also went viral on the internet. The news agency also reported that police have recorded his statement in court. According to Delhi Police, the actor’s absence was due to his seeking spiritual enlightenment.
Gurucharan Singh Missing Case
On April 22, Gurucharan aka Sodhi of TMKOC, went missing. The actor was in Delhi to attend his father’s birthday. Later, he was supposed to catch a flight from Delhi to Mumbai. However, he never showed up inside the aircraft. His family, then registered a police complaint, leading to the registration of an FIR under section 365 of the Indian Penal Code. The actor’s father also dismissed the mental health claims against Singh and said he was completely fine. Later, the Delhi police filed a kidnapping case and launched an investigation.
