Harry & Meghan update: Why this smidgen sympathy for the Duke of Sussex | Explained

According to reports, Prince Harry was supposed to attend with his wife Meghan, in what had been billed as the couple’s first joint Hollywood red carpet appearance, but it was later announced that Harry would be solo, and he came in through a back entrance.

It was later reported that Meghan had decided to stay home because one of their two children was sick which many journalist and critics present at the event felt it to be a smart move. And as we all know by now how conniving and image conscious Meghan who considers herself to be star, when she hardly is one.

Meghan, the mastermind behind Harry’s moves

As for Harry, the royal family feels that he has brought a lot of shame to the family by first the release of Netflix’s series Harry & Meghan where he and Meghan had royally defamed the British royal family which was followed by his controversial memoir Spare. Both of them were Meghan’s idea though. In fact, she was the mastermind behind Prince Harry’s Spare.

Firstpost had earlier reported that Prince Harry’s acknowledgment to his ‘beloved wife’ in Spare. It talks of Meghan Markle being Prince Harry’s “logical, physical, emotional and spiritual” inspiration. Royal biographer Tom Bower suggested that the Duchess of Sussex is the driving force behind the controversial memoir, titled Spare.

Now Harry is completely at the mercy of Meghan. He cants even says any kind words for his father and sister-in-law with whom he was very close to during his Living Legends of Aviation speech knowing that both were going through a health crisis.

According to a report published in Daily Mail, a guest mentioned, “We all assumed Harry would say something kind about his father and Kate, before going into his acceptance speech. But he didn’t say a word about them, which was weird.”
