Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor to team up for Karan Johar's next, film to release directly on OTT

Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan is gearing up for his big-screen debut with Karan Johar’s home production tentatively named Sarzameen, directed by Boman Irani’s son Kayoze. And now, the star-kid has signed another film for Johar that stars Netflix’s ‘The Archies’ actress Khushi Kapoor opposite him.

A report by Pinkvilla says the film will be directed by Shauna Gautam, who assisted Johar on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, and will directly stream on OTT.

Khushi’s tribute to mother Sridevi

The much-anticipated premiere of ‘The Archies‘ at NMACC in Mumbai witnessed a touch of nostalgia as Khushi graced the event in a gown that was worn the ever-stylish Sridevi back in 2013. Khushi Kapoor, making a mark with her distinct sense of fashion, had chosen to pay a tribute to her mother, Sridevi in an iconic ensemble.

The chosen gown, with its intricate crystals, was a showstopper when Sridevi wore it at the 2013 IIFA red carpet. Now, it took center stage once again as Khushi stepped into the world of Bollywood. A source close to Khushi Kapoor revealed, “Khushi is extremely happy to pay a tribute to her mother as she wears such an iconic gown which was once worn by her mother. She is also wearing Sridevi’s jewellery for the red carpet. This is a very special day and for Khushi it’s particularly an emotional debut.”
