In call with Putin, Netanyahu says Israel won't stop until Hamas is destroyed
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin and made it clear that Israel would not stop until it had destroyed the military and governing capabilities of Hamas.
During the call, Netanyahu told Putin that Israel had been attacked by “brutal and abhorrent murderers” and had gone to war determined and united.

Putin, during the conversation, highlighted the measures Russia is taking to stop the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip from escalating further during their discussions.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia said: "President Putin laid out the steps being taken by Russia to prevent the further escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip."
