Gujarat Titans (GT) maintained their top spot in the Indian Premier League (IPL) standings with a dominant nine-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Jaipur on Friday.

RR earlier won the toss and opted to bat first, but they would be regretting that now after they suffered a batting collapse. Rashid Khan (3/14) and Noor Ahmad (2/25) were the pick of GT’s bowling as RR only managed 118 in 17.5 overs.

In reply, it was a collective batting effort from GT’s top three. While Wriddhiman Saha (41*) and Hardik Pandya (39*) were unbeaten, Shubman Gill contributed 36 runs, forging a 71-run stand with Saha for the first wicket.

Gujarat Titans (GT) currently occupy top spot with 14 points from 10 matches after their win over RR on Friday. Delhi Capitals, meanwhile, remain at the bottom with just six points from nine matches following their win.
