She is currently preparing for the release of her much-awaited sports drama Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. The film which also stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead will hit the big screens on May 31, 2024. As she gears up for the trailer release of the film, Janhvi hosted a quick AMA session with her fans and followers on Instagram. The ‘Dhadak’ star answered a few questions on her Instagram stories and one of them has a Uorfi connection. Yes, you read that right!

A fan asked Janhvi Kapoor if she copies Zendaya to promote her films. She took a moment to appreciate the Dune star and internet sensation Uorfi Javed. The actor said, “I’m very heavily inspired by what she did for her Challengers & Dune promotions. And, no just her, even I think Uorfi, how creative she is with her fashion.”
She added, “I feel like as actors were all encouraged to kind of do method dressing or dress similar to your character when you’re promoting a film, I have never really done it except for Dhadak.”
“But when I saw her doing it and doing it so well and also dress like in accordance to the theme of the film, I realized that as actors there is good amount of attention put on how we can look and how we dress and if I can use that to bring attention back to my film then why not, ” Janhvi concluded.

Recently, Janhvi Kapoor has been promoting her forthcoming film, directed by Sharan Sharma and produced under the banners of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
