New Delhi: Good news for Jio Cinema users; the streaming platform has announced the cheapest annual subscription available till now. Yes, you have heard it right! Jio has come up with an extraordinary introductory annual plan of just Rs 299. The new plan offers similar benefits to Jio Cinema’s monthly plan with a validity of 12 months. It looks like a better pick than the older annual plan of Rs 999.

Benefits Of The New Annual Plan
Earlier, Jio cinema has launched a monthly plan for Just Rs 29 which offered Premium ad-free plan. The new plan will be similar to that plan but with a validity of 12 months.
The annual plan will allow users to watch premium content in 4k with the facility of downloading the content to watch anytime without internet access. The premium content available on the platform are from the providers like HBO, Peacock, Warner Bros., and Paramount.
This plan will also let you watch your favorite content without any disruptions of ads. However, in case of sports like cricket or any other live events, ads will feature in usual intervals.
The family plan is not available with this plan so the number of screens is limited to only one. Which means only one user can avail the benefit of this plan.
As of now the plan is available at a special offer of Rs 299. However, after the completion of the first annual subscription the company is expected to charge Rs 599.
The new plan is much cheaper than the charges of any other Jio Cinema’s streaming rival like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+Hotstar.
