Kannada TV Actor Pavithra Jayaram Dies in Car Crash

Kannada actress Pavithra Jayaram, famous for her role of Thilottama in the hit Telugu television series ‘Trinayani‘ died in a car crash on Sunday. The devastating accident took place near Mehbooba Nagar in Andhra Pradesh. According to the details, the car lost control and was smashed into the divider. Later, a bus collided with a car and due to this the actor died on the spot. 

Pavitra Jayaram’s sister Apeksha, driver Srikant, and actor Chandrakant were also severely injured in the accident. It occurred while they were returning to Hanakere in the Mandya district of Karnataka. Pavitra’s passing has deeply saddened the entertainment industry.

As soon as the news of the actor passing away was shared online, condolence messages started to pour in. Actor Sameep Acharya expressed grief over her passing. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), he wrote, “Woke up to the news that you are no more. It’s unbelievable. My first on-screen mother, you will always be the special one.”

Pavithra Jayaram became a household name with her TV serial ‘Tilottama‘. She also made her name in several Kannada TV serials. The actor won hearts with her appearance in various Telugu serials. Pavithra gained popularity among audiences for her role in the Telugu serial “Trinayani.”

The series Trinayani narrates the tale of Trinayani, gifted with the ability to foresee the future and past, often leading her into predicaments. Despite facing setbacks, she endeavors to utilize her gift to safeguard those around her from harm. The show features a cast including Aashika Gopal Padukone, Chandu Gowda, Sri Satya, Priyanka Chowdary, Vishnu Priya, Bhavana Reddy, Anil Chowdary, and Challa Chandu, among others.
