'Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay Teaser: Guru Randhawa, Saiee Manjrekar entertain as 'Sirfira Majnu' and 'Beautiful Laila'
One of the most popular singers of the generation, Guru Randhawa, best known for his songs like Ishare Tere, Naach Meri Rani, High Rated Gabru, and Patola among others, is all set to mark his acting debut in Bollywood. The popular singer will be seen in G Ashok’s upcoming film ‘Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay. The makers of the film unveiled the fun-filled teaser of the film on Tuesday, giving a glimpse into the unique love story of ‘Sirfira Majnu’ and a ‘Beautiful Laila’.
While Guru Randhawa can be seen playing the lead role opposite actress Saiee Manjrekar, the teaser also features actor Anupam Kher in a prominent role, who adds another layer of fun element to it. Taking to his Instagram handle, Guru shared the teaser with a caption that reads, “A love story that’s as sweet as candy, with a twist of Sirfira Majnu’s antics and Beautiful Laila’s charm. Join us on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, drama and whole lot of fun!”
The teaser gives a glimpse into Guru Randhawa’s entangled love story. As it begins, a voice can be heard narrating the love story, seemingly based in Agra. “Suprabhaat, Main hoon aapka host aur dost, lekar aaya hu aapke liye dil ki ek aur kahaani. Yeh kahaani hai ek sirfire majnu, ek beautiful laila, aur unke beintehaa tedhe medhe pyaar ki. Iss laila majnu ki love story mei love toh bahut tha, lekin unki kahaani ka asli twist kuch aur hi tha,” he says.
While Guru plays the role of a crazy lover, Saiee Manjrekar plays his love interest. The teaser looks quite promising and is filled with a lot of funny moments. Veteran actor Anupam Kher can be also seen bringing life to the light-hearted romantic comedy. However, what we cannot miss is the singer’s popular song ‘Ishare Tere’ playing constantly in the background.
Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay release date
The teaser came just a day after makers unveiled a new poster of the film on Monday. Taking to his Instagram handle, Guru Randhawa shared the poster with a caption, “Love, laughter, and a dash of surprises await! Join Sirfira Majnu and Beautiful Laila on their unforgettable journey in Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay.”
While announcing that the teaser will be out on Tuesday, 30 January, the singer-actor also confirmed the release of the film i.e., 16 February 2024.
