New Delhi: An elderly farmer grew to become allegedly denied entry in Bengaluru’s GT World Mall on Wednesday for carrying a dhoti. Following the incident, a crew of farmers protested in front of the mall. It grew to become alleged that coverage at a Bengaluru mall stopped the man and denied him entry caused by his clothing. The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday.

In the video, the son may factual be heard sharing the ordeal and showed the video of coverage personnel denying entry to them. The father and the son had tickets booked for a movie, according to the reports. The coverage personnel allegedly asked the man to alternate into pants to enter.

In maintaining with a News18 checklist, the elderly man in his renowned clothing informed the personnel that he couldn’t alternate outfits as they had been visiting. Even with, the mall supervisor maintained that it grew to become a strict managerial policy.

BJP chief Shehzad Poonawalla attacked the Congress-led Karnataka government alleging, “Farmers are being abused and insulted for carrying Dhoti? Banned entry in a mall!”

“Karnataka CM wears a dhoti! Dhoti is our delight.. should farmer wear a tuxedo in a mall? How is Karnataka Congress enabling this? They are most anti farmer! They even accelerated expenditures of diesel & betrayed farmers. Now they are insulting farmers by denying entry in Dhoti,” Shehzad Poonawalla posted on X.
