‘Maybe, if I got in the right mood….’, Donald Trump on another debate with Kamala Harris
Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are the official presidential candidates for their respective parties, having accepted their nominations at the conventions earlier this year.
Washington: Former US President Donald Trump suggested on Friday that he would think again holding a second debate with Vice President Kamala Harris if he got within the correct mood, CNN reported. He also mentioned that his stance on debating Harris may change, but nothing is definite within the mean time. Trump stated, “I did great with the debates, and I suspect they’ve answered the total lot. But possibly if I got within the correct mood, I don’t know.” The former US President stated,”At this time, I’m leading.”
When asked by the media what it could well take for him to participate in another debate with Harris, Trump spoke back, I wouldn’t need anything. I may do it tomorrow, but I’ve done two debates,” as he referred to his previous debate with US President Joe Biden.
The percentages of a second debate between the two U.S. presidential candidates ahead of election day were eliminated on Thursday when former President Donald Trump announced he would now not participate in another debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.
He claimed victory in Tuesday’s debate with Harris, despite some polls indicating otherwise. Sharing a post on Truth social, Trump wrote, “When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are, ‘I WANT A REMATCH’. Polls clearly show that I won the debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and he or she right away often also often called for a 2d Debate.”
Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are the official presidential candidates for his or her respective parties, having accepted their nominations on the conventions earlier this year. The US presidential elections are scheduled to be held on November 5 this year.
