We are referring to the well-known Kannada actor and producer Radhika Kumaraswamy, who chose to marry former Karnataka chief minister and JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy in 2006. Even while her choice changed her personal life for the higher, it permanently damaged her career.
The Kannada film ‘Neela Megha Shama‘ marked Radhika Kumaraswamy’s debut in 2002. On the time of her industry entry, she had just finished her ninth grade. As a lead actor, she starred in two films – ‘Tavarige Baa Tangi,’ starring Shivrajkumar, and ‘Ninagagi,’ opposite Vijay Raghavendra. She narrated the story of an ungainly experience she had in her early days contained in the industry involving torn stockings. Radhika advised that any incidences of sexual harassment in the profession must be dealt with robust accountability.
