Samarjitsinh Ranjitsinh Gaekwad was once born in April 1967. One of many finest son of Ranjitsinh Pratapsinh Gaekwad and Shubhanginiraje, Samarjitsinh Ranjitsinh Gaekwad hails from the royal Gaekwad family of Baroda. He studied on the Doon School where he developed a keen interest in sports from an early age.
