Oscar-Winning Actor Kevin Spacey Breaks Down in Emotional Interview with Piers Morgan, Reveals Financial Struggles; See Video

Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey recently broke down during a heartfelt interview with Piers Morgan on his show, Piers Morgan Uncensored. During the conversation, Spacey disclosed the foreclosure of his Baltimore home, which is set to be sold at auction. According to Variety, Spacey also revealed the staggering legal fees amounting to ‘many millions’ of dollars incurred from his sexual misconduct trials.

When asked about his current living situation, Spacey could not hold back his tears. “It’s ironic you ask that because this week, my residence in Baltimore is being foreclosed on,” he said. “My house is going to auction, so I need to return to Baltimore and put my belongings in storage.” He continued, “So, to answer your question, I don’t know where I will live next. I’ve been in Baltimore since we started filming ‘House of Cards’ there in 2012. This has been my home since 2016. I can’t pay the bills that I owe.”

When Morgan inquired if Spacey was on the brink of bankruptcy, the actor responded, “There have been moments when I thought I would have to file, but we’ve managed to avoid it so far.” Shockingly, when asked about his current financial status, Spacey replied, “None.”

He elaborated, “You have some idea of the legal bills. I still owe a significant amount… Yes, I’m in debt. It’s considerable. Many millions. The house itself is worth many millions.”

Since the #MeToo movement in 2017, the Oscar winner has faced numerous legal battles. In 2022, a New York jury concluded that Spacey did not molest actor Anthony Rapp, who had accused him of sexual assault in the early 1980s when Rapp was 14. The following year, a UK court found Spacey not guilty of nine sexual assault charges brought by four complainants. Several other charges and lawsuits have been dismissed. Spacey has consistently denied all allegations.

A recent two-part documentary titled “Spacey Unmasked” aired in the UK and is now streaming on Max. It features previously unheard testimonies regarding Spacey’s alleged sexual misconduct, including a claim that he groped another “House of Cards” actor on set. In response, Spacey posted on X, “I will not sit back and be attacked by a dying network’s one-sided ‘documentary’ about me in their desperate attempt for ratings.”

Additionally, in January, a US court unsealed previously locked documents from a years-old lawsuit linked to the late sexual offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein, which included Spacey’s name among other celebrities.
