Patrick J Adams apologises for posting throwback PHOTOS of his 'Suits' co-star Meghan Markle

Someone, please inform Harvey Specter as Genious Boy Mike Ross has made an error. Patrick J. Adams recently dropped a string of BTS photos from the set of the hit series Suits on his official social media handle.

The post also included some rare throwback pictures of his former co-star Meghan Markle (Rachel Zane). One of the pictures showed Meghan Markle lying down on a couch. The post also included pictures of his other co-stars such as Daniel Costabile, Vanessa Ray and Trevor Lipinski.

However, Patrick J. Adams later removed all these stills from his social media. Not only that, he even went on to explain the reason behind his decision. The actor penned a note on his Instagram stories that went, “The last couple of days I foolishly and thoughtlessly let a trip down ‘Suits‘ memory lane distract me from the very real and ongoing fight everyone in @sagaftra continues to wage in its effort to win our membership realistic 21st Century compensation and protections. It was an embarrassing oversight for which I’m incredibly sorry. So grateful to those who gently and swiftly course-corrected me here and I look forward to continuing the fight in the days and weeks ahead. #sagaftrastrong.”

For those who do not know, the Hollywood actors’ union SAG-AFTRA went on strike over an ongoing labor dispute with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) on 14 July. Hence, the SAG-AFTRA actors are not allowed to promote their projects in any form, including the ones made in the past. Patrick J. Adam’s post can also be construed as a violation of the strike rules.

Meghan Markle left Suits in 2017, allegedly due to her relationship with Prince Harry.

Suits premiered in 2011 on USA and ran for nine seasons till 2019. Later on, the show streamed on Netflix. It has managed to break all the streaming records with an overwhelming performance on the OTT platform. The series revolves around a brilliant college dropout, Mike Ross, who ends up working with one of the Best New York law firms under a brilliant lawyer, Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht).
