Producer Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios ventures into OTT with Tara Sutaria-starrer 'Apurva'

Producer Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, behind Kabir Singh and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, is now making its mark in the world of digital entertainment. Khetani is set to introduce a new dimension to his cinematic journey with the upcoming OTT project ‘Apurva‘ starring Tara Sutaria, Rajpal Yadav and Abhishek Banerjee in lead roles.

Sharing about the venture into OTT space Producer Murat Khetani said, “Cine1 Studios as a production house is committed to bringing compelling, content-driven cinema to the audience. Our sole objective as a production house is to entertain and offer engaging cinematic experiences, much like what we deliver in theaters. We believe that the time is right for us to make our mark in the OTT space with our movie ‘Apurva’ on Disney+ Hotstar. With this move into the OTT realm, we will continue with our tradition in delivering much more engaging content to the audience”.

Tara Sutaria speaks on headlining this project, “I am overwhelmed by the immense love and appreciation that our first look has received. ‘Apurva’ has been the most challenging and rewarding experience for me with regard to performance and it is also starkly different from any role I’ve played before. The fierceness and power of this character is what drew me in from the beginning! This is the role I’ve longed for since I began my career, and I can’t wait for the audiences to watch the film from November 15, on Disney+ Hotstar.”
