Ravi Shastri picks the ‘most technically talented cricketer’ and it's not Virat Kohli

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri has named Sachin Tendulkar as the most pure, flawless batter he had ever seen. Speaking in a podcast called Club Praire Fire, Shastri said that Tendulkar brought purity to batting and adapted and dominated across all conditions.

“Tendulkar, across all formats, is the player I have witnessed adapting to various conditions and maintaining consistency in his performance. He brought a pure element to batting; while you may find better run-getters or players with more power, Sachin made batting look effortless. Whether scoring runs on bouncy tracks or turning tracks, using the front foot or back foot, he was sensational. Very few adjustments were needed; everything came naturally to him,” Shastri said.
