World Cup 2023: From top run-getters to leading wicket-takers, all key statistics at the end of round-robin stage

The ongoing 2023 Cricket World Cup has witnessed quite a lot of thrilling encounters. Australia’s win over Afghanistan, South Africa’s last-gasp victory over Pakistan are some of them to name a few.

It’s the batters who have largely dominated in this World Cup, with team totals going past 300, and even 400 on multiple occasions.

However, the bowlers have had their say as well. India’s pace trio of Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj have formed arguably the most clinical bowling attack of this tournament, with Shami and Bumrah featuring in the top wicket-takers’ list.

As far as batting charts is concerned, it’s Virat Kohli who leads the way with 594 runs, with South Africa’s Quinton de Kock (591 runs) not far behind. Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer also feature in the top 10 run-getters.

As the round-robin stage of the World Cup comes to an end, we take a look at some key stats from the tournament so far, from the run-getters to wicket-takers and a lot more.
