T20 World Cup 2024: Sanju Samson HUGS Rishabh Pant After DC Beat RR in IPL 2024 Match; Heartwarming PIC Goes VIRAL

Delhi: In less than a month, the T20 World Cup 2024 starts. Ahead of that event, India’s T20 wicketkeepers – Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson – met in an IPL 2024 game at the Arun Jaitley stadium in Delhi when Rajasthan Royals took on Delhi Capitals. While there has been a lot of competition for that ‘wicketkeeper’ slot, there was no animosity between the two cricketers, who were also leading their respective sides. After the game in which the Capitals beat Royals by 20 runs, Samson was seen hugging his counterpart Pant. The picture is being loved by the fans and it is also going viral:

“I think we had it in our hands, it was like 11-12 runs per over, it was achievable, but these things happen in IPL. Yes, we are doing both the things fine, we will like to stick to what the conditions demand, 220 was 10 runs extra to chase, if we had conceded a couple of less boundaries, we would have made it through,” Samson said after the loss at the post-match presentation.

“The way our bowlers executed at the back end was the main positive and it was really good to see. We will try to learn from every game. Even when we lose or win, we will keep our head down and keep moving forward,” Pant said after the win.
