Mumbai: Bollywood celebrity couple, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have been married since 2012. Recently, Saif has sparked curiosity early in their romance, he famously got Kareena’s name tattooed on his arm in Devanagari script. Saif Ali Khan Replaces Kareena’s Tattoo
In the comments, some fans speculated the tattoo was for a movie, with one saying “Relax everyone, it’s just for a film (sic).” Others were curious about the meaning behind the tattoo design, but no clear answer emerged from the discussion. Saif Ali Khan’s 2008 tattoo of Kareena’s name on his forearm echoed a similar gesture by David Beckham. Saif described the tattoo at the time as a public declaration of his commitment to Kareena. Saif said, “I wanted to say, ‘Look, this is what I have done and it’s a pretty serious commitment. I can wave it in your face every time you say ‘Casanova’! I’ll say, ‘But I haven’t done that before’ (sic).”
Kareena Kapoor Khan in an interview with Brides Today recalled the moment when her son Taimur Ali Khan was obsessed with his father’s tattoo. She said, “I think the most romantic thing is when my son points at it now and asks. Like, he is all the time looking at that tattoo. And Saif is like, ‘This is your amma’s name’. And he (Taimur) keeps wondering like, ‘What is he saying?’ I think that’s a special moment for me (sic).”
