Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra may come with 4K, 120fps video recording, likely to be launched on January 17

As the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series approaches, new leaks have emerged, shedding light on exciting features and pre-order incentives for the upcoming smartphones. The leaks hint at a noteworthy improvement in video recording capabilities and appealing perks for early adopters.

One of the standout features is the possibility of 4K video recording at 120 frames per second (fps) on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, as suggested by leaker Ice Universe on X. Although the feature is currently in testing, there’s no guarantee it will make it to the final release.

If implemented, it would mark a significant advancement, surpassing the current limitation on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which supports 4K recording at a maximum of 60fps. While not entirely groundbreaking, as some other brands already offer this feature, it adds a competitive edge to Samsung’s flagship lineup.

In addition to the potential video enhancement, previous leaks indicate that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will switch from a 10x telephoto lens to a 5x lens, showcasing Samsung’s commitment to refining its camera technology.

On the pre-order front, a post on Naver discloses potential perks for Galaxy S24 series buyers. Early adopters may receive discounts on either a Galaxy Watch or the recently launched Galaxy Buds FE.

Moreover, Samsung is rumoured to offer doubled storage at no extra cost, aligning with its strategy in previous foldable releases. While additional perks are yet to be confirmed, Samsung has a history of providing boosted trade-in credits during pre-order periods.

The highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series is slated for launch on January 17 if rumours are anything to go by, promising an array of features and incentives to attract consumers in the competitive smartphone market.
