New Delhi: Team India’s star batsman Sanju Samson has scored an astonishing century, destroying Bangladesh with his explosive batting. In the 1/3 and final match of the T20 series against Bangladesh in Hyderabad, Sanju Samson played an acceptable innings of his T20 career and scored a century in exactly forty balls. With this, he scored the 2nd-fastest century for India in T20 International. At some stage on this inning, Sanju thrashed Bangladeshi spinner Rishad Hossain some of the most and hit 5 consecutive sixes in his one over. He successfully surpassed the previous record held by Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who scored a 23-ball fifty against Bangladesh in 2019.

In the last T20 match of the series in Hyderabad, Team India came to bat first and Sanju Samson took full benefit of it. Sanju, who failed to play a massive innings in the primary and 2nd matches of the series, settled the score in the 1/3 match and hit this sort of rain of sixes and fours that surprised the spectators sitting in the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, while the Bangladeshi players present on the sphere and their coach sitting in the dugout were extremely upset.

Samson hit four consecutive fours against Taskin Ahmed in the 2nd over of the innings. Then in the seventh over, he completed his half-century by hitting 2 fours and a six off three balls of Rishad Hossain. He completed this fifty in exactly 22 balls, which is the fastest half-century from India on this format against Bangladesh. After this, Sanju changed into much more dangerous and Rishad Hossain came lower than his target again. Sanju created a stir by hitting 5 sixes off 5 consecutive balls after missing Rishad’s first ball in the tenth over. Soon Sanju also completed the primary century of his T20 International career in exactly forty balls.
