Sara Ali Khan will always hold a special place in her heart for her debut movie, Kedarnath. The actor frequently shares happy recollections from the sets of the 2018 film on social media. She recently broke down in tears when speaking about her first co-star and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, attributing all the praise she received for the movie to him.

Sara Ali Khan now broke down in tears in an interview with Mid-Day as she thought about her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput from Kedarnath. Recalling favourite memories, Sara recalled one moment when the director was rushing so she just went to Sushant and said, “I don’t know how to do this, there’s one, this, this line, just show me.’ And he just showed me.”

“And I just went, and I copied him. Being able to speak Hindi the way that I do, is something that people appreciate about me quite often, whether it’s being as curious as I think I am, so much of it is Sushant. Any love I’ve got for ‘Kedarnath’, and it’s a lot, it’s just all him, ” she continued.

Sara Ali Khan made her film debut with ‘Kedarnath.’ Sushant Singh Rajput played ‘pithu’ in the revered Kedarnath temple.  The film depicted the romantic tale of a Muslim porter and a Hindu pilgrim, set against the tragic backdrop of the 2013 Uttarakhand flash floods. The devastating flood claimed 70,000 lives and left 4,000 dead. Nitish Bharadwaj, Alka Amin, Pooja Gor, Nishant Dahiya, Tarun Gahlot, Sonali Sachdev, Sunita Rajwar, and other notable actors starred in the film office hit. The 2018 romantic drama Kedarnath was a commercial success.

On the work front, Sara Ali Khan recently appeared in the film ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan,’ where she played an ardent participant in the Indian liberation movement named Usha Mehta. She will be seen in Anurag Basu’s directorial ‘Metro In Dino‘ starring Aditya Roy Kapur. In addition to them, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, and Konkona Sen Sharma are among the ensemble cast members in the movie. The film is expected to open in theaters in November.
