After long anticipation, Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif starrer Merry Christmas released today at the box office. While the film is riding high on positive word-of-mouth, popular director Atlee known for helming Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Mersal, Bigil and Theri with Thalapathy Vijay, praised the romantic thriller and called it ‘a pure classic’.
Taking to X, Atlee wrote, “#MerryChristmas! I’ve been waiting to write this one.
