Shatrughan Sinha Hospitalised After Tripping on Carpet, Friend Pahlaj Nihalani Shares Health Update

Days after Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal were married, the Dabang actor’s father, Shatrughan Sinha, was hospitalised at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. According to media reports, the veteran actor was hospitalised for a routine check. Videos of Sonakshi along with her husband Zaheer exiting the hospital were also making rounds on the internet.

As per a report by Zoom, the Taaqat actor tripped in his dining room and injured his ribs, reports claim that the actor was in his dining area when the accident happened. He was getting up from the sofa when his feet hit the corner of the carpet, causing him to trip and hurt himself. A source quoted by Zoom said, “You will find Shatru most of the time on the same sofa at the same spot. He loves to sit there and watch the news on TV. Most of his interviews are conducted there only.”

A day after the incident, the actor-turned-politician felt a sharp pain in his ribs, and his family immediately took him to the hospital. Upon arrival, the actor’s doctor recommended hospitalisation for a thorough checkup. According to the current situation, all the reports for Shatrughan have come back with no internal injuries reported. He is likely to be discharged tomorrow. In a conversation with the portal, Shatrughan’s best friend and filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani said, “Yes, Shatru Ji is in the hospital. But he is absolutely fine now. He should be back home by tomorrow evening.”

Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s car was also spotted leaving the Kokilaben hospital premises. The couple got married on June 23, 2024. They registered their marriage and followed it up with a major reception on the same day. The event was attended by several Bollywood celebrities, including Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kajol, Tabu, Huma Qureshi with brother Saqib Saleem, Aditi Rao Hydari with fiancé Siddharth, and more.
