Young Indian Squad Departs for Zimbabwe Tour Under Interim Coach VVS Laxman

Mumbai: The Indian squad for the T20I series against Zimbabwe departed from India on early Tuesday morning.The first match of the five-game series will be played on July 6 at the Harare Sports Club. The last T20I will be played on July 14 at the same venue, which will host all the five games.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to X, sharing pictures of players leaving for Zimbabwe, which included Abhishek Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Avesh Khan, Riyan Parag among others.

Also, the head coach for India during this tour would be former cricketer and the National Cricket Academy (NCA) chief VVS Laxman.
