Stalker approaches Drew Barrymore
In a similar incident in late August, American actress and film producer Drew Barrymore was approached by an alleged stalker who tried to interrupt her interview with Renee Rapp. Looking at the security concerns, Drew had to be escorted away from the stage at the earliest.
The man, who identified himself as Chad Michael Busto, according to Variety, called out Drew saying, “You know who I am. I need to see you while you’re in New York.”
However, the duo returned to the stage shortly after.
String of attacks on singers
Not just this, several such events involving a string of attacks on singers during concerts had also been reported in the past. During one such incident against Cardi B, when a fan tried to act smart with her during a concert, she got her revenge right away.
As snippets from the concert went viral, it showed a person in the audience throwing a drink at Cardi, which splashed her in the face. In anger, Cardi threw her microphone at the person which hit directly in the face.
In yet another incident, singer Harry Styles was struck with a bouquet of roses at a concert in Cardiff, Wales.
