Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari: Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari boasts an ensemble cast, including Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Akshay Oberoi, Maniesh Paul. Like Khaitan’s earlier directing efforts, the movie aims to be a classic rom-com. The actors increased the excitement among fans anxiously anticipating the release of the film by posting a glimpse of the pooja ritual on their Instagram feeds.
To celebrate the start of filming Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Janhvi Kapoor surprised her fans on Saturday by posting pictures from the pooja ceremony on her Instagram account. The caption on the post read, “Love is about to take center stage! Sunny Sanskari & Tulsi Kumari’s journey with their family begins today. Send love & blessings! #SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari in cinemas, 18th April 2025!” She tagged the entire cast along with director and producer Karan Johar, who were all dressed in traditional attire.
Inside ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ Mahurat Ceremony
Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, the film is penned and directed by the renowned filmmaker. Shashank is recognized for his work with Varun Dhawan in the Dulhania series and with Janhvi Kapoor in Dhadak. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is scheduled to premiere on huge screens on April 18, 2025.
Janhvi Kapoor has a full schedule of upcoming movies. She will star in Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, alongside Rajkummar Rao. Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s daughter will essay the role of an IAS officer in Uljah. She is also making her Telugu film debut with Devara, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Jr. NTR. Varun Dhawan, on the other hand, will next be seen in Atlee’s Baby John. He’ll be starring alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Citadel India.
