Sunrisers Hyderabad, IPL 2024 Auction: Full list of players bought by SRH, complete squad

Sunrisers Hyderabad come into the IPL 2024 Auction with the need of a massive upliftment in fortunes. They finished bottom of the table last season and have Rs 34 crore to spend at the auction to bolster their squad by a maximum of six players – three of them being foreigners.

Their biggest change from previous season was the decision to let England’s Harry Brook go. SRH spent big on the batter but didn’t quite see the return on investment they were probably hoping for. However, the team can fix that if they get him again but for a lower price.

Brook isn’t the only Englishman to part ways with the ‘Orange Army’. Leg-spinner Adil Rashid was also one of the nine players released but the fact that he took just two wickets in the season hardly helped his cause.
