Tamannaah Bhatia recalls emotional trauma she faced during father's emergency surgery: 'That night was scary'

Talking about her personal life, the actress who is in relationship with her Lust Stories co-star Vijay Varma, recently recalled the time when her dad was seriously ill. During a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, the Lust Stories 2 star Tamannaah opened up about a traumatic incident in her life that left her tremendously scared.

Tamannaah Bhatia Shares About The Most Difficult Part Of Her Life

While speaking to the entertainment news portal, Tamannaah shared about an emotional trauma she faced that completely shook her. Calling it one of the lowest phases of her life, Tamannaah expressed how her life took a drastic turn when she saw her father, the strongest person in her life, become so vulnerable. Elaborating further, Tamannaah said, “Me and my father were actually on a flight and he had an umbilical hernia that got strangulated. He had to be rushed to hospital and get the operation done.”

Expressing about how she felt, the actress said that the night was very scary for her because she had never seen the strongest person in her life look so vulnerable. She dealt with the situation and did whatever she needed to at the hospital.

Tamannaah Bhatia On What She Learnt From That Experience

Tamannaah went on to say how important it is to process and cope with grief at the right time. She said, “I think I made the mistake of not processing it and just returning to work. The only thing that I learned from that experience is that fear and anxiety if not expressed, the repression of that might lead to it physically manifesting itself. For some people mentally manifesting as well. So, it’s important to let it out, experience it and fully process it.”

Tamannaah Bhatia’s Professional Commitments

On the acting front, Tamannaah Bhatia has romantic comedy drama Bole Chudiyan in her kitty. The film also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Rajpal Yadav. Other than this, the actress will star opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh in the film titled Bandra.
