Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur teaser to be out tomorrow, actor shares new impressive poster

Vicky Kaushal is one of the most versatile actors in today’s time. Ever since his debut in Masaan, he has proved his mettle as an actor with multiple powerful performances. Up next, the actor is gearing up to treat the fans with another promising drama, Sam Bahadur.

Vicky Kaushal will be seen essaying the role of Field Marshal Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw in the biographical drama directed by Meghna Gulzar. Adding to the hype for the movie, the actor recently dropped an exciting update regarding the movie on social media.

Vicky Kaushal’s Teaser Release Date

Sharing a new poster from Sam Bahadur, Vicky Kaushal informed through the post that the teaser of the movie will be unveiled tomorrow, 13 October. The announcement poster shows Vicky Kaushal in the uniform with salt and pepper hair and a mustache.

He captioned the post, “His Life. Our History. #Samबहादुर Teaser out tomorrow. In cinemas 1.12.2023.” The preview will also be shown during the upcoming World Cup match between India and Pakistan on 14 October. It must be noted here that this goes perfectly with the theme of the drama as it revolves the India-Pakistan in 1971.

All About Sam Bahadur

For those who do not know, Sam Manekshaw was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. He became the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. 

Now, talking about the cast of the drama, the project will see Sanya Malhotra as Sam Manekshaw’s wife Silloo, and Fatima Sana Shaikh as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It will also feature Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick, Richard Bhakti Klein, Saqib Ayub and Krishna Kant Singh Bundela as the ancillary cast.

Now, coming to the technical crew of Sam Bahadur, Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy has scored the tunes for the drama, whereas Jay I. Patel has looked after the camera work. Produced under the banner of RSVP Movies, the project has already created a lot of hype among cinephiles.

The Meghna Gulzar directorial is scheduled to release in theatres on 1 December, 2023. Sam Bahadur will be locking horns with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal at the box office.
