New Delhi: Virat Kohli couldn’t hold the dancer in him as the former India captain was caught doing the Bhangra to a popular Daler Mehendi song, ‘Tunak Tunak Tun’ after India ended a decade-long wait for an ICC trophy when they defeated South Africa in the final by seven runs to lift the T20 World Cup 2024 title on Saturday. It was India’s second T20 World Cup title after MS Dhoni-led Men in Blue clinched the silverware in 2007.

Kohli, who played a match-winning innings of 76 runs under pressure, also announced his retirement from the shortest format of the game. With the champions’ medals around their neck, the likes of Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel and Mohammed Siraj started dancing to ‘Tunak Tunak Tun’ before Kohli joined in. Kohli and Arshdeep had their moments too.
