Some steadfast Japanese film enthusiasts journeyed all the way to India to catch firsthand the buzz around the newly-released movie. Photographs of these ardent three fans, shared on the film’s official Instagram account, show them standing proudly next to the iconic ‘Rebel’ truck at Prasads Multiplex in the city of Hyderabad. They are seen clutching a unique poster, which showcases stunning animations inspired by the character Bharava, played by Prabhas, and his trademark vehicle. The hand-crafted poster also carries a heartfelt message from these fans, reading “Kalki 2898 AD. Cheers to the successful release!! Warm regards from your Japanese fans, dated 27th June 2024.”

Celebrating the success of Nag Ashwin’s directorial. The official Instagram account of Kalki 2898 AD captioned its post, “All the way from Japan to Hyderabad!
