WATCH: Agra Police SI disrobed, tied to pillar, thrashed for allegedly scaling boundary wall to rape woman

In a shocking incident from Agra village, a police sub-inspector found himself in a grave situation on Sunday night after he allegedly entered a house in an inebriated state and tried to sexually assault a woman.

Late on Sunday at around 11 PM, sub-inspector Sandeep Kumar reportedly scaled the wall of a residence and unlawfully entered the premises. In his inebriated condition, he is said to have harassed a girl inside the house, even disrobed her. The commotion woke the family, and they swiftly apprehended the sub-inspector.

As word of the incident spread, villagers gathered, infuriated by the violation of the security and the safety of their loved ones. They vented their anger by tying Sandeep to a pillar near the house and subjected to a severe beating.

The situation escalated to the point where police intervention became necessary. The police arrived at the scene around midnight, finding the sub-inspector partially unclothed and bound to the pillar. Shockingly, someone captured the entire ordeal on video, which has since gone viral on social media.

Following the incident, sub-inspector Sandeep Kumar has been suspended from duty, and a first information report (FIR) for rape was lodged against him. The authorities claimed to have taken the matter seriously, promising further investigation and departmental action.

The victim, a young girl involved in the incident, revealed that sub-inspector Sandeep Kumar had been harassing her for an extended period. He allegedly made unwelcome advances and threats, indicating that he would implicate her and her father in false cases if she did not comply with his demands.

In response to the situation, Police Commissioner Dr. Preetinder Singh announced sub-inspector Sandeep Kumar’s immediate suspension and confirmed that the case is under investigation. He pledged that appropriate legal action and departmental measures will follow.
