Legendary footballer David Beckham is currently in India. The World Cup 2023 semi finals between India and New Zealand saw him as one of the attendees and the star player was also hosted by Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja for an intimate dinner. That’s not all, he also gave an exclusive interview to News18 where he played the fun rapid fire round.
During the course of those questions, when he was asked about the possibility of his new tattoo, he said it could be inspired by his current trip to India. Watch:
What brings him to India?
“David Beckham is in India for his UNICEF commitment as a Global Ambassador, and he would be meeting Sonam and Anand during his trip to Mumbai. The power-couple (Sonam and Anand) would be hosting David when he is in Mumbai and have invited the crème de la crème icons of the city for a dinner at their residence,” a source said.
About the dinner
It was a very intimate affair with only 25 guests. “It is a very private affair. We are hearing only 25 people have made the cut for this grand soirée! Sonam and Anand are major entrepreneurs themselves, with Anand being at the top of the heap with a business empire,” the source added.
Apart from Beckham, the other celebrity attractions at the match were Ranbir Kapoor, Superstar Rajinikanth, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Shahid Kapoor, and Kunal Kemmu.
