WATCH: IDF finds mortar shells, RPGs inside kindergarten in Gaza

After uncovering weapons hidden by Hamas in MRI machines in Gaza’s Al-Shifa Hospital, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has now found arms and ammunition stored inside a kindergarten and an elementary school in northern Gaza.

A video posted by IDF on X shows troops finding a stash of mortar bombs in a kindergarten. Additionally, soldiers also found Hamas weapons, including rocket-propelled grenades, hidden inside the Al-Karmel Elementary school.

Israel and US have both maintained that Hamas uses civilian infrastructure like schools, hospitals and homes to cover their terrorist activities.

Earlier this week, IDF released a video claiming to have uncovered countless Hamas weapons inside Gaza’s largest hospital Al-Shifa.

Jonathan Conricus, spokesperson of the IDF, stood outside the hospital, saying, “We are going to do a one shot  video, no editing, of all of the evidence we have found in this buliding of the Al-Shifa Hospital.”

Following this, as he entered the MRI centre of the Al Shifa, he pointed: “Israeli troops breached here a few hours ago and we have cleared the area, made sure that it’s safe. Few of the interesting things we have found totally confirm without any doubt that Hamas systematically uses hospitals in their military operations in violation of international law.”

Meanwhile, Israel has issued fresh warnings to the residents of Khan Younis in southern Gaza to evacuate and move west, closer to humanitarian aid and out of the line of fire, in the latest indication of the country’s expansion of operation against Hamas in the south.

“We’re asking people to relocate. I know it’s not easy for many of them, but we don’t want to see civilians caught up in the crossfire,” Mark Regev, an aide to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, told MSNBC.

The recent calls for evacuation could mean that hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who first left northern Gaza to move south might have to relocate again, along with the citizens of Khan Younis.
