New Delhi: Pakistan pacer Mohammad Hasnain surprised everyone together with his sensational over while  playing for Panthers against Markhors led by Mohammad Rizwan in Pakistan’s ongoing Champions Cup on Tuesday, September 24. Hasnain delivered a double-wicket maiden over and rattled the Markhor’s top order.

Markhors won the toss and chose to bat first against Panthers in Faisalabad. On the opposite hand, they didn’t get the desired start brought on by Hasnain’s masterclass. After Ali Raza got the first wicket by brushing off Markhors opener Haseebullah Khan cheaply on a duck within the 2nd over, Hasnain destroyed the opposition’s batting line-up within the 3rd over.

The speedster disregarded Markhors opener Kamran Ghulam and captain on back-to-back deliveries while conceding no runs within the over. The appropriate-arm pacer started his over with a dot ball to Kamran earlier than trapping him lbw. After that, he disregarded Rizwan on the following delivery as the proper-hander edged it to the keeper looking to go after an out of doors off delivery.

Hasnain bowled crucial delivery to new batter Salman Agha but missed out on a hat-trick. However it, he managed to deliver a super over with two wickets and no runs coming from it.

Later within the sport, Hasnain disregarded attacking batter Fakhar Zaman on an affordable score of just 11 runs within the seventh over. Hasnain finished the sport with three wickets by giving just 25 runs in 9 overs at an economy rate of 2.Seventy seven as the Markhors managed to get just 137 runs in 36 overs.

Hasnain made his debut for Pakistan in 2019 but failed to make his spot permanent within the team. He played his last ODI in January 2023 and last featured in a T20I game in 2022. So a chronic way, Hasnain has played 9 ODIs and 27 T20Is for Pakistan with 37 wickets across two formats. He is yet to make his Test debut for Pakistan.
