Richa Chadha was recently questioned about her response to being compared to Madhuri Dixit regarding her performance in SLB’s period drama in an interview with Filmygyan. She said that she had acquired this from experience rather than instruction in retrospect. She went on to describe an instance in which, despite going through four rounds of auditions, she was unexpectedly replaced at the last minute by a celebrity kid, or maybe someone’s girlfriend.

Richa Chadha talked about the mental and physical toll that filming a dance routine required, and how the high expectations of the renowned director drove her to drink, only days after disclosing that she had to give it 99 takes. The actor had to execute a dance number in a single continuous take that included emotional nuance, intricate dancing moves, and a sense of intoxication.
