Amid Triptii Dimri receiving criticism, she says ‘it’s challenging…’ – Exclusive

The enigma of Bulbbul had intrigued us. The simplicity of Qala got us hooked.  Saloni Bagga’s fire of passion became inspiring and we look ahead to Vidya to make us tickle. Triptii Dimri has essayed a lot of character shades and appear to have caught her audience’s eye.  This time she is all set in the groove to explore the comic genre in ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ starring alongside RajKummar Rao. In an exclusive conversation with India.com, Dimri talked about playing different roles, her journey from small town to rising fame, making of ‘Mere Mehboob’ song amid criticism.

The ‘Animal’  fame actress has recently been in limelight after her high octane dance number ‘Mere Mehboob’ became released. Clad in a sultry and electrifying blue saree, Dimri became in a never-seen sooner than avatar of herself.  After the song became out, Dimri received a lot of flak, became trolled for her dancing too. People commented how she looked quite uncomfortable with the moves to boot. Amid the total criticism and trolling, we asked Triptii if the dance routine became among essentially the most demanding aspects someday of the shoot. She said, “ It definitely became since it became me looking to do something different again. I actually have never done such dance number sooner than. It became demanding but a lot of fun too. I got to learn a lot of things on set. Jo energy ki baat kar rahe, you get  from people around you. So the team became there, Raj became there to motivate me but all in all it became a fine experience.”

‘Bad Newz’ actress has spoken about how she is a small town girl who enjoyed the freedom to purchase vegetables! Once a shy, introvert personality, this day is all graceful and confident talking to people and pushing her boundaries. When asked how she is taking the total star, she said, “Its taken its time and I am glad it did. Because I believe woh time se aap chizein seekhte hain.  Jab shuru kiya tha tab koi idea nahi tha ki things will turnout this way. I dreamed of it, but ab jab sab sapne sach ho rahe hote hain toh kafi khushi ho rahi hoti hai. Bahut acha lagta hai. I am very grateful to the total parents who have been a component to this journey. Abhi or bhi sikhna hai, or bhi kam kar na hai or bhi achhi films karni hai. “

Triptii Dimri is on spree of experimenting with scripts and to this point has been acing it one film at a time. Speaking about her latest film ‘Vicky Vidya ka Woh Wala Video,’ she recalled, “There were times when we couldn’t finish the scenes only, you know  to manipulate laughing, we were just laughing, and bahut zyada maza aya, day by day we had a lot of fun. And we were sure ki audience will definitely find it irresistible.

This Raaj Shandilya directorial features RajKummar Rao, Vijay Raaz, Archana Puran Singh, Tiku Sultania, Mallika Shehrawat among others.  The film will hit the theaters on October eleven and will likely be clashing with every other major film – Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina’s ‘Jigra.’
