Babar Azam at No. 3, Azam Khan Doubtful; Pakistan’s Predicted Playing XI For T20 WC 2024 Match vs Canada

New York: Following back-to-back losses in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, Pakistan have their backs to the wall and are in a precarious state when it comes to making it to the next stage. The Babar Azam-led side take on Canada in their third game of Group A at the T20 WC 2024 and it would be interesting to see if the Men in Green stick to the same XI or incorporate changes to their side which played against India.

There are whispers that Imad Wasim may come in to the side in place of Azam Khan. Also, another change that is on the cards is Babar Azam batting at No. 3 and Fakhar Zaman opening with Mohammed Rizwan. The rest of the XI is likely to remain the same.

Without a doubt, Pakistan start favourites despite their two consecutive losses. The match will be played at the Nassau County in New York on Wednesday. The match starts at 8:00 PM IST.

“As a batting unit, you can’t lose as many wickets as we are losing. Players have got to take responsibility when that opportunity comes,” coach Gary Kirsten after Pakistan’s loss against India.
