Bollywood actor Govinda left his fans worried when the news broke that the actor by chance shot himself in the leg. Following this, the actor and Shiv Sena leader was admitted to Mumbai’s CritiCare hospital. Now, in the latest update, Govinda has been discharged from the hospital and has moved back to his home in Mumbai. On Friday afternoon, Govinda made his first public appearance following the mishap. He spoke to the media for the first time after the incident and thanked every person for their prayers.

I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their love,” Govinda said. The ‘Hero No.1’ famous person was in a wheelchair along with his leg in a cast. His relations were by his side.

Govinda was rushed to the hospital on October 1 after his licenced revolver allegedly misfired, resulting in a bullet wound to his knee. The incident befell at approximately Four:45 am on Tuesday. Based on the Mumbai Police, Govinda was preparing to depart for Kolkata and was putting his revolver back in the cupboard when it by chance discharged.

His manager, Shashi Sinha, provided in an identical way details and said, “Govinda was on the aim of leave for Kolkata and was putting his licensed revolver back in the cupboard when it slipped from his hand, and the gun went off, hitting him in the leg. The doctor has removed the bullet, and his condition is stable. He continues to be in the hospital.”

In a message to his fans from the hospital, Govinda expressed his appreciation for their prayers and well-wishes. “Hello, or not it truly is Govinda. With the blessings of my fans, my parents, and God, I am doing better now. I used to be hit by a bullet, which has now been removed. I thank the doctor here, Dr. Agarwal ji. I thank all of you in your prayers,” he stated in a heartfelt audio message.

Govinda has been advised to rest for a pair of days by doctors. Speaking with the news agency ANI, Ramesh Agarwal of Criticare Asia Health center, said, “He (Govinda) has been asked to rest for three-Four weeks now, his exercises, and physiotherapy are continuing. He is okay. We're discharging him. He will rest at home.”

After learning about the incident, a few celebrities including director David Dhawan, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, and actors Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty visited the Criti Care Health center to inquire about Govinda’s health.
