The last few days have been extremely challenging for Malaika Arora. After her father, Anil Mehta, tragically committed suicide, Malaika’s entire family has been in mourning. No matter the challenging time, Malaika made her first public appearance on Friday since her father’s passing. The actress became seen walking the red carpet at a Navratri event hosted by a renowned jewellery brand.
Malaika donned a white tissue saree and accessorized it with a surprising collection of necklaces. She kept her makeup minimal and styled her hair in a sleek bun. No matter the cruel time, the actress maintained a robust demeanour, wearing a phenomenal smile. As soon as the video surfaced online, it quickly went viral.

Many of Malaika’s fans praised her for staying strong and fulfilling her work commitments. One fan wrote, “She is so strong, pleased with her!!” Every other commented, “People are so quick to judge! Recently, Malaika shared an Instagram Story featuring a manifestation quote from a Scorpio-themed page that read, “October shall be good to you, Scorpio.” As Malaika approaches her 51st birthday on October 23, the message holds special significance, reflecting her hope for brighter days beforehand after her personal loss.
Close friends, including Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor, have been pillars of strengthen, often visiting her Bandra home to supply comfort at some point of this demanding period. Last month, in September, Malaika and her family faced a devastating time when the news of her father Anil Mehta’s suicide broke online. The first person to arrive Malaika’s parents’ house became her ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan. Later, Malaika’s current partner, Arjun Kapoor, became also spotted on the scene.
